LOCATION …. LOCATION …. LOCATION

Located in Sturbridge, Massachusetts, next door to the popular and unique Old Sturbridge Village, Pine Lake RV Resort & Cottages is at the doorstep of the unique and festive attractions of all New England.  We are located at the intersection of I-84 from NYC and I-90 Mass Pike from Boston.

We are less than a mile from these interstate highways (but have no noise pollution).  We are approximately one hour from Boston, Providence, and Harford and less than 2 hours from the beauty of Cape Cod.  Make Pine Lake RV Resort & Cottages your home base for day trips to all of New England, from the Paul Revere trail in Boston to the incredibly scenic beaches of Cape Cod.

Our next door neighbor is Old Sturbridge Village, New England’s largest living museum that
replicates a New England Village as it was in the 1820 era, complete with costumed candlemakers, farriers, and bustling costumed characters. The town of Sturbridge is also developing a reputation for several smaller restaurants, including B.T.’s Smokeshouse (acclaimed by the late Anthony Bourdain as one of America’s great smokehouses), the Sturbridge Seafood Restaurant (with a daily variety of fresh oysters and fish), and the Duck and Avellino with their warm and rustic ambience, live musicians, and great food.

Shopping for antiques in the surrounding area is always rewarding, and for the basics there is a nearby mall that has about 15 shops, anchored by mainstays that include a Walmart, a large grocery store, an Uno Pizza restaurant and a Staples.

With all of the above, please know that the Sturbridge area is known for extensive trails, including great hiking trails, forest trails, bike trails and lake trails, all with hand-curated trail maps, directions and reviews. Discover for yourself why people exclaim, “You won’t believe these hikes exist in Central Massachusetts!” We urge you by all means to hit the trails at your own pace and in your own space. With more than 71 trails and 583 miles, you are bound to find a perfect trail for you.
