October 5 – October 11 Activities – Oktoberfest

Daily Monday – Friday

10:30am – 11:30am
Pine Lake Picture Treasure Hunt
Mohawk Resort Reception

We offer a different Treasure Hunt for every day of the week.  Our Treasure Hunt judge will rate the quantity and quality of your clever and amusing pictures that hopefully will include your team and the Property features.  By scurrying around to take the photos, you will get an introduction to the beauty that is Pine Lake RV Resort & Cottages.  The long list of Property features to be photographed creates a time challenge as it may be difficult to find everything in the allotted time, but do the best you can.  The Hunt ends at 12 noon, sharp.  Prizes from the candy bowl for all that participate.

2:00pm – 3:00pm

Friday, October 8

5:30pm
Bingo and Beer Tasting
Wachusett

The highly admired Taylor Brooke Brewery & Winery from Woodstock, CT., will be offering a unique beer tasting in the October Fest tradition.  Their brewery and winery began in 1993 as a hobby and quickly soared as it is “a labor of love.”  Located in the “Quiet Corner” of northeast CT, on what was once one of the oldest and largest farms in town, they manage their beverages to reflect the essence of their farming surroundings: strong roots, a tender touch, a caring manner, a nurturing environment, and a commitment to quality. It’s a philosophy that works for their family that results in their exceptional wines and beers.  Come enjoy their truly unique beers.  Must RSVP for this event by Thursday, 10/7 by 5pm.

7:00pm – 9:00pm
Hits:  Chris  Terp
Wachusett

As we kick off the weekend, after the Beer Tasting and BINGO, we will roll right into the always popular and talented guitarist / singer: Chris Terp.  Probably one of the best one man shows around, Chris Terp has a repertoire of songs and instruments that is impressive as he lays down hit song after hit song.  You will be amazed at how much beautiful sound emanates from one individual, but then again, that individual is the talented Chris Terp.  Check it out as it is a complimentary show in a lakeside location at the Wachusett Event Center.
